Gordon College Women's Basketball welcomed the Springfield College Pride to Kanas Court for their final contest before Christmas break where the visitors were able to top the Fighting Scots, 76-49.
For the Fighting Scots,
Ami Rivera nearly booked a double-double as the junior had 18 points and seven rebounds,
Isabella Rivera netted 10, while
Sydney Noyes chipped in eight points.Â
Springfield's
Rachel Vinton and
Jalen Daubon each registered 14 points, while
Lindsey Laughlan added 12 points.
How It Happened
- Gordon hit a trio of shots from downtown early, but the Pride shot over 50% from the field in the first before carrying over the momentum to the second frame as the visitors went on top, 47-23 at halftime.
- In the third, the blue and white finished the quarter strong, outscoring the Pride, 11-5 heading into the fourth. However, Springfield was able to maintain their advantage to come out with the non-conference win.Â

- Ami Rivera has now scored double-digits in every game this season.
- The Fighting Scots will take to the court once more before the New Year as they host the Wheaton College (Mass.) Lyons on Friday, December 29 at 1 p.m.
