How It Happened
- Gordon's A. Rivera got the Scots going with the first basket of the game just over a minute into action but 22 ticks later, the Hawks grabbed the 3-2 edge with a three. The score was at a standstill until Roger grew their gap at the 6:13 mark. The squads traded points before the Hawks pulled ahead to take the double-digit lead (17-6) with 3:08 remaining. In the remaining minutes, Roger was able to outscore the Fighting Scots 6-1 to head into the next frame, 23-7.
- The Scots immediately cut their deficit to 12 (13-25) after a mix of points from Lomonaco and Wynbeek, however,  the Hawks retaliated to eventually take a 20-point lead (42-22) with 1:20 left in the second quarter. The blue-and-white refused to go down easy as Lomonaco and Wynbeek continued to dominate the court, adding six more points while holding Roger to two, ending the first half, 28-44.Â
- While Wynbeek was able to open up the second half with a layup to chip away at the Scots' deficit, but the Hawks were able to hold on to their lead, to enter the final ten minutes, 63-46.
- Back to back layups from A. Rivera and Wynbeek shrunk the margin in the initial minutes of the fourth, bringing the score to 50-63, however an eight-point Hawk rally allowed the visitors to take their biggest lead of the game, 71-50. The Fighting Scots attempted to chip away in the final minutes, but it wasn't enough as Roger took the eventual 76-55 win.
