Gordon College Women's Tennis kicked off the Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head, South Carolina this afternoon as they squared up against the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen where the Fighting Scots fell to their opponents, 2-7.
Gordon's 2022 Fall Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Year,
Annette Kim, stayed hot for the Scots as she started off her squad with a doubles win with partner
Caroline Helmer as they overpowered their Flying Dutchmen counterparts, 8-6 in the No. 1 slot.
In singles,
Kristin Kendall earned the Scots' singular win after an intense battle on court five where the junior outmatched her opponent (7-5, 5-7, 10-5) to grab Gordon's second point of the evening.
The Fighting Scots return to the courts again tomorrow, March 7 to battled Johnson & Wales at noon.
