Gordon College Women's Basketball traveled into Boston for a noon tip-off against the Wentworth Leopards in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play where the Fighting Scots cruised to a 74-48 win over the Leopards.

For the Fighting Scots, Ami Rivera registered 23 points, six assists, and four boards, Sydney Noyes had 16 points, four steals, and five rebounds, while Naomi Nicholson added 12 points and dished out five assists.

The Leopards' Maddy Foster nearly had a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Brooke Carlson booked nine points.

How It Happened

• As the scoreboard read 9-9 at the 6:45 mark of the first quarter, the Fighting Scots stormed out of the frame on a 13-2 run to double up their hosts, 22-11 heading into the second.
• A. Rivera scored half of her team's points in the second (11) as the blue and white held a 44-25 advantage at the break.
• Noyes and Nicholson set the tone coming out of the locker room with back-to-back layups to open up the third en route to a 24-point lead heading into the final frame.
• Midway through the fourth, A. Rivera knocked in the and one to maintain the 20-point cushion. Down the stretch, Cassidy Dillon sank one from the charity stripe to secure the 74-48.
