Gordon College Women's Basketball opened up the new year with a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest with the Endicott College Gulls on Kanas Court where the visitors defeated the Fighting Scots, 92-46.
Gordon's
Isabella Rivera registered 12 points and four rebounds,
Naomi Nicholson added eight points and five boards, while
Abby Chewning chipped in eight points.
Endicott's
Sarah Dempsey had 22 points and 11 rebounds,
Katleyn Jonareski netted 17 points, while
Taylor Bogdanski and
Libby Fleming had 12 and 11 points, respectively.
How It Happened
- The Gulls raced out to a 14-0 run before Nicholson broke up the scoring threat with a layup from an Ami Rivera pass. From there, however, Endicott continued to hold the upper hand as they took a 56-20 advantage at halftime.
- After the break, the Gulls did not let up as they secured the conference win over the Fighting Scots.

- Rookie Abby Chewning recorded a career-high eight points after going 4-6 from the field.
- The Fighting Scots return to action on Thursday, January 4 as they travel to Dudley, Mass. for another league match-up with the Nichols College Bison at 5:30 p.m.
