Gordon College Women's Basketball took the trip into Boston for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest against the Suffolk University Rams where the Rams topped the Fighting Scots, 91-59.
Gordon's
Ami Rivera had 18 points and five rebounds,
Isabella Rivera registered a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards, while
Naomi Nicholson and
Sydney Noyes contributed 10 points a piece.
For the Rams,
Amanda DeAngelis booked 22 points and 12 rebounds, while
Lauren Romito,
Colby Guinta, and
Allison Bono added 14, 13, and 12 points, respectively.
 How It Happened
- The home team rolled out with 15 straight points before the blue and white scored a trio of shots to make it 15-6 before finishing the quarter down 26-15.
- A Nicholson three-pointer made it a 10 point game early in the second but the Rams were able to widen the gap to 53-29 at the break.
- Sophie Peters drained a shot from downtown to open the third, but the Rams continued to hold the Scots at bay en route to the conference win.Â
