How It Happened
- With the score locked up at 8-8, A. Rivera knocked down a shot from downtown to take the 11-8 lead with 4:34 to go in the first quarter. The Scots controlled the tempo from there to lead 18-12 heading into the second.
- A 10-2 run to kick off the second put Gordon on top, 26-14 midway through the frame. The blue and white continued to shoot well as the score read 38-25 at the break.
- Curry regrouped in the locker room and came out shooting, flipping the script on the visitors to hold a three-point advantage heading into the final quarter.
- The Fighting Scots however, had enough of the attempted Colonel comeback as they entered the fourth, chipping away before a Tooman 'and one' tied it at 62-62 with 3:08 remaining. Tooman's bruise and the bucket spearheaded the 13-0 run en route to the conference victory.
