Scots Fall To Lasers In Non-League Play

Gordon College Field Hockey hosted the Lasell University Lasers this evening at the Brigham Athletic Complex. After a short delay, the Lasers scored first and never looked back en route to the 8-0 win.

How It Happened
  • Six minutes after the opening whistle, the Lasers were able to sneak one past the Gordon keeper to go on top, 1-0. Less than three minutes later, the visitors tacked on another to widen the gap to 2-0.
  • After their first attempt was swatted away by keeper Allyson Stauffer, the visitors found the back of the cage, bringing the scoreboard to 3-0.
  • The Lasers continued to attack in the second half with five tallies to claim the victory.
Beyond The Box Score
  • Tonight marks the second only match up between the Scots and Lasers.
  • The Fighting Scots return to the turf on Saturday, October 12 to host the Nichols College Bison as the blue and white return to conference action.
