In the Conference of New England (CNE) Semifinal match this afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex, No. 2 Gordon College welcomed No. 3 Endicott College to battle it out to see who earns a spot in the CNE Championship this coming weekend. The match was played "to decision" by conference rules and the Gulls came out with the 4-0 victory. The Fighting Scots conclude their fall season with an overall record of 6-4.
How It Happened
- The Gulls took care of business on the top two doubles courts to claim the overall doubles point (1-0) to head into singles play.
- A win in No. 1 singles, followed by a win on the No. 4 court, put Endicott just one victory away from clinching their spot in the CNE Championship. A win on the No. 3 court did just that as the Gulls sealed the win, 4-0 to advance.
This concludes the Fighting Scots' season for the fall before they continue competition next semester.
