The Gordon College Women's Soccer team hosted the University of Hartford Hawks in their regular-season finale Tuesday night at the Brigham Athletic Complex. Hartford pulled off a 3-0 win against the Fighting Scots. 

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots created chances within the Hawks' box early on in the first half. Ava Forbes-Smith challenged the Hawks' keeper with two shots on goal. 
• The Hawks snuck a pair of goals in the twelfth and eighteenth minutes of the first half. The Scots' back line tightened up stopping the Hawks' attack the rest of the half. The Hawks held a 2-0 lead going into halftime. 
• Keeper Emily Bengston kept the Scots in the game with three clutch saves to start the second half. The Hawks eventually found the back of the net to make it 3-0 with five minutes left in the game. The Hawks held onto the lead for a 3-0 win.

• Emily Bengston made a season-high 10 saves.
• The Fighting Scots look ahead to the first round of the playoffs on Saturday, November 2.
