Gordon College Women's Basketball opened up the Gordon College Classic with a dominating 94-42 win over the Dean College Bulldogs on Kanas Court tonight.

Ami Rivera and Woynitu Ciccarello led the way with 21 points each, followed by Abby Chewning who had 14 points, and Leah McGarvey who chipped in 11 on the night.

Dean's Abi Boutin scored 13 points and Kendrah Doane added seven.

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots steamrolled through the first quarter, scoring 29 unanswered until Dean sank a pair of free throws from the charity stripe with 48 seconds remaining. Chewning drained one from behind the arc to put Gordon on top, 32-2 going into the second frame.
• After a quiet first quarter, Dean came back in the second to put up 15 points, but the Scots held the 46-17 advantage at halftime.
• Eight different Scots recorded a point or a rebound in the 29-point third quarter with Brynn Barnhard hitting a layup late to make it a 42-point margin heading into the fourth quarter.
• Ciccarello nailed a trio of three pointers in the fourth as the blue and white claimed the win.

• Woynitu Ciccarello has scored 19 or more points in back-to-back games to start her Fighting Scot career.
