After moving up their first match of the spring break trip in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Gordon College Women's Tennis team took flight against the Eagles of Bridgewater College (Va.), where the blue and white took the victory 7-2.

Emily Fulling put the Fighting Scots up first besting their counterparts 8-2. The lead continued for Gordon as doubles partners
Kristin Kendall and
Abbigail Fournier stretched the lead to 2-0 for the squad as they defeated the opposition, 8-6.
With the Fighting Scots up 2-1 as they entered the single portion of the day, No. 6's Fulling picked up the 7-5, 6-1 win to widen the gap to 3-1 in favor of the Scots.
Chloe Hanley secured a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 2 slot, followed by a hard fought battle in the No. 3 position thanks to Fournier who took down her counterpart, 3-6, 7-6 (10-7) to seal the deal for the Scots. Wrapping up the evening for the blue and white was
Amanda Kim, who topped the No. 5 slot with a score of 8-0, as
Kristin Kendall continued the winning for the Scots with an 8-5 victory over the No. 4 player.
Next up for the Fighting Scots is a 10 a.m. match-up against Mount Vernon Nazarene on Saturday, March 2.
