The Fighting Scots Women's Lacrosse team traveled down to Clearwater, Florida for their spring break action. The blue and white took on Grove City College at Phillip Jones Park, where the Wolverines defeated the Scots 16-3. 

For the Fighting Scots, Kaitlyn Mini had two goal, Caroline Piorkowski added one goal, while Rachel Mincone dished out one assist.

Grove City's Lucy Martin had four goals and three assist, while Madison Nazigian recorded five goals. 

How It Happened

• After Grove City scored the first goal of the game in the opening minutes, Piorkowski found the back of the net to tie the game 1-1.
• The Wolverines regained the lead and never looked back as they lead 7-1 at the half before securing the 16-3 win. 

Beyond The Box Score

• Newcomer, Rachel Mincone recorded her first career assist.
• Gordon College takes on the Vikings of Berry College at 10 am on Monday, March 4 at Phillip Jones Park to wrap up their spring break trip.
