Scots Edge Chargers, 5-4

Box Score Gordon College Men's Tennis returned the courts for the first time since their spring break trip as the Fighting Scots traveled up to Hanover, New Hampshire to face the Colby-Sawyer Chargers at Dartmouth's Boss Courts. The Fighting Scots won an elongated hard-fought match, 5-4.

Ezekiel Hall and Jeffrey Bodner grabbed the first win in doubles by a score of 8-3, followed by a Joshua Noel and Larson Benthem 8-5 victory, to put Gordon on top, 2-0. In No. 3 doubles, Carleton Riester and Sam Miller secured the doubles sweep with an 8-3 in to put Gordon up, 3-0 heading into singles.

In singles, Hall and Bodner made it a one-two punch after 6-0, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-2 victories, respectively, to put Gordon in the driver's seat for the 5-4 win over the home team.

The Fighting Scots have their home-opener on Thursday, March 28 to host the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) Blue Jays at the Brigham Athletic Complex at 3:30 p.m.
