Gordon College Baseball returned after their final off day of the week to the Northeast Regional Park (NERP) in Davenport, Florida to play the Calvin College Knights, where the Knights defeated the Fighting Scots 13-3. 

How It Happened

• With the bases loaded, and Jonathan McIntyre up to bat, the junior singled through the right side scoring Alex Razzaboni, to put Gordon up 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning.
• The Knights got on the board in the next half inning with a two-run shot over the right field fence (2-1). Calvin later added two more before Gordon cut the deficit in half thanks to a CJ Demers single which plated McIntyre in the bottom of the fifth (4-2). 
• Calvin continued to pull away with a big inning in the sixth and eighth to end the game in eight innings.

• CJ Demers has recorded two or more hits in five out of the seven games this year. 
• Jonathan McIntyre has reached base in five straight games. 
• Gordon returns to the diamond tomorrow, March 8 to play the Cougars of Clark University at 9 a.m.
