On Wednesday night the Gordon College Fighting Scots hosted the Salve Regina Seahawks at the Brigham Athletic Complex. A fast paced second half leads to a 3-2 Gordon win.

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots controlled the ball throughout the first half coming away with four shots and two corners. The half concluded with a 0-0 stalemate despite the strong start for the Scots. 
• Ten minutes into the second half Scot's Ava Forbes-Smith set senior Kristi DiRico for a goal with a quick pass into the box(1-0). The Seahawks answered just under two minutes later with a goal of their own (1-1).
• The Seahawks scored a goal in the sixty-first minute of the game to take a 2-1 lead over Gordon. Scots' Eowyn Lapp brought the score even with a rocket shot (2-2).
• Ada Forbes put the Scots back ahead scoring with just under 15 minutes left in the game (3-2). The Scots did not let off the gas as they held tight to their 3-2 win.

• This marks Gordon's sixteenth win against Salve Regina all time.
• The Scots head to Babson next on Saturday afternoon.
