The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Womens Soccer team took on the Babson College Beavers in Wellesley, Mass. Saturday afternoon. An early second half goal snuck the Beavers past the Fighting Scots resulting in a 1-0 loss.

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots ripped four shots on goal in the first half keeping pressure on the Babson defense. Junior keeper Emily Bengtson put up a wall making seven first half saves to keep the game scoreless (0-0).
• The Beavers broke through shortly after the second half kicked off. 
• The Scots battled to bring the score even but the game concluded in a 1-0 Babson win.

Beyond The Box Score

• This is the first time playing Babson in Gordon Women's soccer history.
• The Scots return home on Tuesday night to play SUNY Potsdam.
