Gordon College Men's Golf ventured off to Connecticut to play in the Hartford Hawks Invitational over the weekend. The Fighting Scots placed seventh, coming ahead of American International and Wentworth. Roger Williams and Suffolk finished in first and second.

How It Happened

• Senior Mario Mateo continued to pace his squad as the veteran earned an individual place of fifth after shooting just +2 on day one and +5 today.
• Classmate Owen Ingram locked up the ninth spot individually thanks to a huge round today (+4). 
• Sophomore Reid Mitchell rounded out the top-three for the Fighting Scots. Mitchell improved on his day one round by four strokes today.

The Scots travel up to New Hampshire this coming weekend for the Keene State Invitational.
