The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Men's Golf Team competed at the Keene State Invitational in Keene, New Hampshire today. The Scots orchestrated a third place finish out of nine teams with a score of 309 (+21).
How It Happened
- Mario Mateo spearheaded the efforts for the blue and white after shooting even with a score of 72 on the day. Mateo trailed just behind the victors who shot -2.
- Cole Scannell also led the Scots thanks to a score of 75 (+3) to place seventh overall.
- Austin Crick rounded out the top-three golfers for Gordon as Crick finished in the top-20 with a score of 80 (+8).
Next up for the Scots is the St. Joseph's (Maine) Invitational on Sunday, October 6 in Casco, Maine.
