Taking the field once again tonight, Gordon College Field Hockey welcomed the Terriers of Thomas College to the Brigham Athletic Complex where the visitors left Wenham with a 12-0 win over the Fighting Scots.

How It Happened

• After a pair of penalty corners, Thomas broke through with their first goal of the night early in the first quarter. Within a five minute span, Allyson Stauffer recorded nine saves before the Terrier offensive pressure was able to sneak one through midway through the frame (2-0).
• Thomas tacked on two more in the first and three in the second to hold the 7-0 advantage at halftime.
• Rookie Haylee Briggs played stellar in the third, surrendering just one goal to the Terriers while booking seven saves in the quarter. 
• In the fourth, the visitors widened the gap to take the eventual win.

• Rookie Haylee Briggs had a career-high 14 saves tonight.
• In just 15 minutes of action, Allyson Stauffer booked a season-high 13 saves.
• The Scots have the weekend off from competition before the travel to Worcester, Mass. to take on the Clark Cougars at 7 p.m.
