WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team picked up a 3-0 victory over Thomas Tuesday evening at the Bennett Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Gordon triumphed 25-17 in the first frame to grab a 1-0 lead in the match.
• The hosts rolled to a 25-14 win in the second set to stretch the margin to 2-0.
• The Fighting Scots claimed the third set 25-12 to wrap up their fifth-consecutive victory on their home court.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) racked up a match-high 13 kills to go with eight digs.
• Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) and Allison Trogdon (Williamsburg, Va.) both tallied five kills.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 22 assists.
• Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I..) chalked up six digs and three aces while Mia Serna (Hacienda Heights, Calif.) added seven digs.
