BEVERLY, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team absorbed a 3-1 loss at Endicott Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Endicott eked out a 26-24 decision in the first set to snag a 1-0 lead.
• Gordon responded with a narrow 27-25 win in the second frame to level the match at 1-1.
• The Gulls cruised to a 25-9 victory in the third to reclaim a one-set advantage, 2-1.
• Endicott prevailed 25-22 in the fourth set to secure its second-straight win.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) paced the visitors with 11 kills and seven total blocks.
• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) posted nine kills and 12 digs.
• Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) added nine kills and 11 digs.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) finished with 29 assists to go with seven digs.
• Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I..) led Gordon with 17 digs.
