BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team notched a 3-0 victory at Suffolk Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Gordon rolled to a 25-14 victory in the first set to grab a 1-0 advantage.
• The Fighting Scots posted a 25-17 win in the second frame to extend their lead to 2-0.
• The visitors edged the home side 25-22 in the third to cap off the 3-0 sweep.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) racked up a match-best 12 kills to go with 13 digs.
• Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) registered 11 kills.
• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) finished with 16 digs and six kills while Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) also tallied six kills.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) finished with 26 assists and 11 digs.

 
LOOKING AHEAD:
Gordon hosts Fitchburg State before traveling to Emerson November 1.
