NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Gordon College women's basketball team dropped a 94-63 decision at Norwich Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Norwich closed the first quarter with an 11-3 run to construct a 21-14 lead.
- The Cadets outscored the Fighting Scots 21-9 in the second period to sport a 42-23 advantage at the half.
- The home side poured in 25 points in the third while limiting the visitors to 11 points to extend the margin to 67-34.
- Gordon narrowly edged Norwich 29-27 in fourth-quarter scoring but the Cadets collected their second-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) and Leah McGarvey (Harrisburg, Pa.) both netted 12 points.
- Sophie Peters (Sidney, Mont.) and Sami Monighetti (Las Vegas, Nev.) tallied nine points each on the night.
- Paige Gadorowski (Athol, Mass.) notched eight points while Hannah Meehan (Strafford, N.H.) finished with seven boards and six points.
- Gordon concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 27.2% and connected on 12-of-42 attempts from the perimeter.
- Norwich shot 58.2% from the floor and 36.4% from behind the arc on the evening.
- Four Cadets scored in double-figures as Maggi Ellsworth and Gracie Laster led the way with 18 points apiece.
