BOSTON, Mass.- The fourth-seeded Gordon College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at top-seeded Wentworth Thursday evening in the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament semifinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth chalked up seven-consecutive points to end the first set with a 25-18 win, establishing a 1-0 lead.
- The Leopards used another late surge to prevail 25-18 in the second set, scoring nine unanswered points to close out the frame.
- Wentworth posted a 25-14 victory in the third to collect its fifth-straight sweep.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) paced the visitors with nine kills to go with nine digs and two aces.
- Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) finished with seven kills and seven digs.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) registered six kills while Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) added four kills.
- Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) notched 18 assists, 13 digs, and three service aces.
- Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) recorded 10 digs on the night.
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHUP SET:
With Thursday evening's results, top-seed Wentworth will host No. 3 seed Endicott in the CNE Tournament championship clash November 15.
