NORTON, Mass.- The Gordon College men's basketball team endured a 76-52 setback at Wheaton Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wheaton strung together a 13-0 run to grab a 24-10 lead with 9:28 remaining in the opening half.
- The Lyons extended their advantage to 34-14 with 2:33 left to play in the first frame on a layup by Nick Scandura.
- The home team carried a 38-20 lead into the halftime intermission
- Wheaton outscored Gordon 38-32 in the second stanza to collect its fourth-consecutive win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alex Daniel (Nolensville, Tenn.) scored a game-high 17 points.
- Chiko Kalu (Queens, N.Y.) registered a season-best eight points and five rebounds off the bench.
- Willem Le Plastrier (Perth, Australia) finished with seven points and eight boards in his first start of the year.
- Michael Nezaj (Armonk, N.Y.) chipped in with 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
- Gordon shot 35.3% from the floor and 26.3% from three-point range.
- Wheaton concluded the game with a field-goal percentage of 47.5% and connected on 12-of-26 from behind the arc.
- Dimetri Iafrate paced the Lyons with 16 points while Markus Nordin notched 14 points and Sal Pedevillano added 11 points.
