WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Curry Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center to wrap up the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Gordon rolled to a 25-10 win in the opening set to claim a 1-0 lead.
• The Fighting Scots collected a 25-9 victory in the second frame to extend the margin to 2-0.
• The home side breezed to a 25-10 victory in the third to secure its fifth-straight sweep.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Allison Trogdon (Williamsburg, Va.) notched seven kills and 13 digs.
• Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) posted seven kills on the afternoon.
• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) tallied six kills to go with four aces.
• Morgan Bruner (Litchfield, N.H.) chipped in with five kills.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) finished with 19 assists.

 
POSTSEASON TOURNAMENT NEXT:
With a 7-3 record on conference play, Gordon earns the No. 4 seed in the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament. The Fighting Scots will host a CNE Tournament first round match November 11.
