NEWTON, Mass.- The Gordon College men's basketball team suffered a 77-68 setback at Lasell Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Lasell established a 15-point lead with 7:04 remaining in the first half on a trey by Cameron Foster-Martez, 28-13.
• Gordon ended the opening frame with an 8-2 run to trim the halftime margin to 32-29.
• The Lasers outscored the Fighting Scots 45-39 in the second stanza to capture their fourth victory at home.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Alex Daniel (Nolensville, Tenn.) poured in a game-high 20 points.
• Drew Brander (Chester, N.H.) recorded a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards.
• Sean Quanico (Pacifica, Calif.) tallied 12 points to go with four assists.
• Isaac Jarvis (Concord, N.H.) grabbed 15 rebounds and added six points.
• Gordon shot 37.9% from the floor and 28% from behind the arc.
• Lasell finished with a field-goal percentage of 38% and connected on 9-of-33 from three-point territory.
• Esmer Madesko led the Lasers with 19 points while Che Hanks scored 15 points off the bench.
