NASHUA, N.H.- The Gordon College women's basketball team capped off the calendar-year with a 64-57 victory at Rivier Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon chalked up the first eight points of the contest to grab an early 8-0 lead.
- The Fighting Scots held a narrow 12-9 edge through the first quarter of play.
- Rivier owned a 21-15 advantage in second-period scoring to sport a 30-27 lead at the half.
- The visitors netted 23 points and limited the home side to 12 points to boast a 50-42 advantage heading into the final frame.
- With 3:24 remaining in regulation, the Raiders trimmed the gap to 59-55.
- Gordon converted 3-of-4 from the charity stripe in the final seconds to lock up its first road win of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Leah McGarvey (Harrisburg, Pa.) notched a team-high 20 points.
- Isabella Rivera (Concord, N.H.) finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
- Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) tallied 12 points.
- Sophie Peters (Sidney, Mont.) grabbed 12 boards to go with four points and four assists.
- Gordon shot 37.1% from the floor and 22.7% from three-point territory.
- Rivier concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 35.1% and connected on 5-of-20 from beyond the arc.
- Gianna Donato poured in a game-best 31 points to pace the Raiders while Juju Nealy recorded 14 points.
