For the final time this season, Gordon College Men's Basketball laced up their shoes to hit the hardwood for an away game in Boston against the Wentworth Leopards where the Fighting Scots took down the Leopards, 89-85.

Gordon's Bernie McGuinness had 22 points, Ryan Brooks added 18 points, Bruce McGuire had a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards, while Sean Quanico scored 11 points.

Wentworth's Tyler Steward scored a game-high 28 points, while Jack Connell netted 26 points.

How It Happened

• The Scots and Leopards were tightly matched after the opening tip, with the largest lead coming off the fingertips of a Brandon Swann three-pointer (21-16) with just under nine minutes to go in the half. Teammate, Quanico drained a jumper to make it a six-point game shortly after, but seven straight points from the Leopards put the home team out in front (25-23) with 6:22 on the clock. The scoreboard locked up six more times in the final minutes, but McGuinness hit a layup at the buzzer to give Gordon the 37-35 edge at halftime. 
• Wentworth started off hot offensively in the second, chipping away to go ahead, 47-41. Gordon battled back to regain the lead, before the scoreboard started to flip flop with both sides going shot for shot. The Leopards erased a six point deficit and lead 83-82 with 1:19 remaining in regulation. Brooks and McGuire had the final buckets of the game to secure the victory for the Scots, 89-85.

• The Scots graduate Bryce Smith, Bernie McGuinness, and Treyton Tebbs.
• Bryce Smith caps off his four-year career with 1124 points, 430 assists and 22nd on the all-time scoring list. 
• Treyton Tebbs had his best shooting percentage this season and collectively has scored 648 career points.
• In just one season at Gordon Bernie McGuinness scored 455 points in 25 games.
