Strong Showing In 800m Highlights Sean Collier Invite

MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Men's Track and Field competed at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT today.

By The Numbers
  • Noah Prince's discus throw put the senior just outside the top-10 (35.61m).
  • In the long jump, William Hughes recorded a jump of 6.65m to place fourth. Teammate Matthew McCluskey earned a top-10 finish with his distance of 5.93m.
  • Rolen Sanderson and Josef Schultz crossed the line back-to-back in 22nd and 23rd place (eighth and ninth among DIII) with times of 1:56.06 and 1:56.68, respectively. Additionally, rookie Jacob Dyer also finished under two minutes in the event to earn a time of 1:58.83.
  • In another back-to-back result for the blue and white, Henry Tait and Peter McGinn made it seventh and eighth (59.19, 59.44) in the 400m hurdles.
The Fighting Scots return to action on Friday, April 25 to begin hosting the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship.
