Gordon College Baseball squared off against the Bulldogs of Dean College in their first of two games against one another this week on the road. The home team took this battle by a score of 7-2.

How It Happened

• The Bulldogs came out hungry with one run in the first before scoring six in the second with a pair of doubles and a home run (6-0).
• Dean tacked on another in the fourth while their pitching staff continued to keep the Fighting Scots off the bases through seven innings. Despite the blue and white not scoring a run, Gordon only went down by way of the K once.
• CJ Demers extended the program home run total in the eighth with a two-run shot over the fence to eliminate the shutout (7-2).

Beyond The Box Score

• Hunter Normandin has now hit four doubles in his rookie campaign.
• CJ Demers recorded his 19th career home run today.
• The Scots will host Dean on Thursday, April 24 at 3 p.m. to complete the series.
