Gordon College Men's Tennis traveled over to Endicott College for a Conference of New England (CNE) First Round No. 5 at No. 4 match-up this afternoon. The Gulls got ahead early and secured the 4-2 victory to advance.
How It Happened
- Endicott recorded the first point of the day after taking the win in doubles.
- Vittal Harith picked up the 6-4, 6-4 victory in No. 3 action to bring the score to 3-1 in favor of the Gulls.
- No. 6 Carleton Riester took set one by a score of 6-3 before battling it out in the second set 7-6 (7-1) to keep the Fighting Scots alive.
- However, the Gulls' edged out a win in No. 1 singles to seal the deal over Gordon.
The Fighting Scots end their season with a record of 9-9 and 5-4 in CNE action. Additionally, the blue and white will graduate
