FULL RESULTS
Gordon College Rowing traveled down to New Jersey for the 86th Annual Dad Vail Regatta this weekend. The Fighting Scots continued to make a name for themselves as the V4+ came away with the gold medal and the V4x secured bronze.
This marks a career best for the Fighting Scots' Women at Dad Vails.Â
By The Numbers
- In the V4+ boat comprised of Emily Soria, LilyAnna Hopkins, Sarah Petrenko, Samantha Hansen, and Victoria Maties won by eight seconds with a time of 8:00.977 on the course. Gordon defeated William and Mary, Pittsburgh, Rhode Island, Carnegie Mellon and Cal Berkley.
- Meanwhile the boat of Isabella D'Agostino, Phoebe Henry, MacKenzie Peck, and Mara Sell cleaned up with a third place finish in the V4x with their time of 8:10.798. The Scots battled Trent who took gold, MIT who grabbed a silver medal, as well as Tampa and William and Mary.
The Fighting Scots will look to keep the momentum going, heading into next weekend where they will compete at ACRA in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
