NEWPORT, R.I.- The Gordon College women's soccer team endured a narrow 1-0 loss at Salve Regina Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salve Regina broke the scoreless tie with less than two minutes remaining in regulation. Sara Wiejkus buried her first goal of the season as Marissa Perachi provided the assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) fired a team-high seven shots while Liana Hanley (San Diego, Calif.) and Ava Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) both registered three shot attempts.
- Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) made her third-straight start of the fall and finished with fave saves. Emily Bengtson (Anthem, Ariz.) posted six saves in 45 minutes of action.
- Gordon concluded the match with 19 shots while Salve Regina generated a season-high 24 attempts.
