MILTON, Mass.- The Gordon College women's soccer team kicked off Conference of New England action with a 1-0 victory at Curry Saturday afternoon. With the result, Fighting Scots head coach
Chuck Breton chalked up his 100th career win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a scoreless opening 45 minutes of play, Gordon got on the board in the 53rd minute to grab a 1-0 lead. Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) bagged her team-leading third goal of the season
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) racked up a game-high 10 shots while Rachel Mincone (East Northport, N.Y.) fired three shot attempts.
- Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) made her fourth-consecutive start between the pipes and recorded one save to earn her first clean sheet.
- Gordon finished with 14 shot attempts while limiting Curry to just four shots on the day.
