HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon jumped ahead 1-0 in the 72nd minute as Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) netted his first career goal.
- The Fighting Scots doubled their advantage to 2-0 in the 79th minute. Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) buried his second marker of the match as Nathan Starzl (Gadsden, Ala.) provided the assist.
- Curry got on the board in the 80th minute to trim the margin to 2-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Cortez Cardone (Villanova, Pa.) racked up a team-high five shots while Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) registered three attempts.
