WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's soccer team dropped a narrow 2-1 decision to Skidmore Saturday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Skidmore established a 1-0 lead with a strike in the 23rd minute. Abby Lewis rolled in her team-leading third goal of the season off of an assist from Hazel Aiello.
- The Thoroughbreds doubled their advantage to 2-0 early in the second stanza. Mara Grace netted her second marker of the year in the 49th minute as Madison Hallet provided the assist.
- Gordon got on the board in the 76th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 as Lily Harper (Ipswich, Mass.) notched her first collegiate tally.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) led Gordon with three shots in the contest while Lily Harper (Ipswich, Mass.) recorded a pair of shots.
- Rookie goalkeeper Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) managed seven saves in her fifth start of the campaign.
- The Fighting Scots finished the match with seven shots while Skidmore manufactured 17 shot attempts on the afternoon.
