WENHAM, Mass.- Junior
Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) recorded a hat trick to propel the Gordon College women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Salem State Tuesday evening at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon seized a 1-0 edge in the 33rd minute. Tia Fyden (Hadley, Mass.) knocked in her first goal of the season off of a low cross from Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.).
- The home side added a goal in the 40th minute to widen the gap to 2-0. Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) buried her team-leading fifth marker of the year with a left-footed strike as Francie Leffler (Cerritos, Calif.) picked up an assist.
- The Fighting Scots tacked on their third tally of the match in the xxx minute. Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) notched her sixth goal of the season with a floated shot over the goalkeeper as Francie Leffler (Cerritos, Calif.) chalked up her second assist of the contest.
- Gordon stretched its lead to 4-0 in the 67th minute as Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) bagged her third tally of the night.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) paced the hosts with six shots in the match while Ava Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) fired a pair of shots.
- Rookie Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) and senior Emily Bengtson (Anthem, Ariz.) each played one half between the posts to combine for Gordon's third clean sheet.
- The Fighting Scots concluded the contests with 12 shots while Salem State mustered three attempts.
