WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's swimming team cruised to a 170-81 victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center Pool in the final home meet of the campaign.
SENIOR CELEBRATION:
Prior to the start of the meet, the Gordon College swimming program recognized senior
Ella Schissler.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Gordon's relay teams claimed first in the 200-yard Medley Relay and the 400-yard Freestyle Relay.
- Evie Lacock notched wins in the 100-yard Butterfly, 200-yard Individual Medley, and the 200-yard Breaststroke.
- Kendall Smith collected three first-place finishes as she topped the field in the 50-yard Backstroke, 100-yard Backstroke, and 100-yard Freestyle.
- Emma Lippiatt captured first-place finishes in the 50-yard Breaststroke and 50-yard Freestyle.
- Harper Yingst earned a pair of first-place finishes, winning the 500-yard Freestyle and the 1,000-yard Freestyle.
UP NEXT:
Gordon will compete at the Metropolitan Championships February 13-15 held at Rutgers University.
