WENHAM, Mass.- Sophomore
Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) scored twice as the Gordon College men's soccer team prevailed 2-1 over Suffolk Saturday afternoon in a showdown between two regionally-ranked squads.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon opened the scoring in the 49th minute to seize a 1-0 lead as Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) netted his team-best fourth goal of the campaign.
- Suffolk answered with a strike in the 52nd minute to knot the match at 1-1. Mohamed Mehaya headed in his eighth goal of the year off of a cross from Dylan Rowe.
- The Fighting Scots regained a one-score advantage in the 61st minute, 2-1. Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) slotted in his second tally of the game as Samuel Masenheimer (Allentown, Pa.) provided the assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) paced the home side with three shots on the day while Santiago Hernandez (Puebla, Mexico) and Luke Lindas (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) both registered two shot attempts.
- Riley Calemmo (Pocono Mountain, Pa.) chalked up one save in his 10th start of the season.
- Gordon manufactured 14 shot attempts on the afternoon while Suffolk fired six shots.
