BRUNSWICK, Maine- The Gordon College men's track & field team trekked north to participate at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College Saturday.
 
 
TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Aidan Roberts and Josef Schultz finished first and second, respectively in the 3,000 meters. Roberts crossed the finish line in 9:02.42 followed by Schultz at 9:08.78.
• Elijah Wisdom placed second in the long jump with a mark of 6.57 meters.
• Peter McGinn claimed third in the 600 meters with a time of 1:26.39 while Jacob Dyer finished fourth at 1:26.45.
• Justin Herzog posted a fourth-place finish in the 200 meters at 23.74 seconds.
• Stephen Denio notched a personal-best time in the 5,000 meters and Brian Panei also registered a personal-best mark in the 1,000 meters.
• Gordon's 4x400 meter relay quartet of Peter McGinn, Justin Herzog, Henry Tait, and Jacob Dyer finished first with a time of 3:34.13.
• Andrew Vickerman placed fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 13.97 meters.
• Dylan Curtis paced the Scots in the shot put event with a throw of 12.24 meters.

Gordon heads to the New England Division III Indoor Championships March 1 at The TRACK at New Balance.
