WINTER HAVEN, Fla.- The Gordon College softball team absorbed a pair of losses Tuesday at THE Spring Games, dropping a 5-1 decision to Desales before falling to Wittenberg 12-3.
GORDON vs. DESALES

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- DeSales chalked up one run in the second inning and added a run in the third to capture a 2-0 edge.
- Gordon tallied one run in the bottom of the fourth frame to slice the deficit in half, 2-1.
- The Bulldogs plated a run in the fifth to reclaim a two-run advantage, 3-1.
- DeSales tacked on a pair of runs in the seventh inning to stretch the margin to 5-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Emilie Adelmann (Upland, Calif.) landed two hits and drove in one RBI.
- Isabella Rivera (Concord, N.H.) notched two base knocks and scored one run.
- Emilie Adelmann (Upland, Calif.) pitched a complete game and recorded two strikeouts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wittenberg tallied six runs in each of the first two frames to build a 12-0 lead.
- Gordon chalked up one run in the fourth before plating a pair of runs in the top of the fifth inning.
