WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's lacrosse team absorbed a 23-4 loss to Suffolk Saturday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Rams sprinted out to a 10-0 lead after the opening 15 minutes of action.
- Suffolk outscored the Fighting Scots 5-1 in the second frame to push its advantage to 15-1.
- The visitors produced four goals in the third quarter and limited the home side to one goal to the margin to 19-2.
- The Rams netted four goals in the fourth period while Gordon posted a pair of goals as Suffolk secured its second-straight conference victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jocelyn Noyes (Byfield, Mass.) notched two goals to lead the Fighting Scots.
- Marializ Lopez (Valley Stream, N.Y.) scored one goal and dished out an assist.
- Sophia Tomassoni (Annapolis, Md.) finished with one goal and a team-high six draw controls.
- In goal, Laureen Leggett (Peabody, Mass.) made her first start of the season and finished with 14 saves to go with five ground balls.
- Gordon fired 12 shots on the afternoon while Suffolk racked up 45 shot attempts.
