Men’s Track & Field Earns Five First-Place Finishes at Jonathan Tymann Invitational

WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College men's track & field team collected five first-place finishes and 15 top-five finishes at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational Friday at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
 
 
TOP PERFORMANCES:
  • Josef Schultz bested the field to win the 1500 meters as he surged across the finish line in 4:12.99.
  • Elijah Wisdom captured a first-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.52 meters.
  • Peter McGinn posted a win in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 57.40.
  • Hudson Studley placed first in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:57.46.
  • Gordon's 4x400 meter relay squad of Jacob Dyer, Justin Herzog, Henry Tait, and Peter McGinn earned a first-place finish with a season-best time of 3:29.80.
  • Ben Rothman placed second in the javelin throw while Dylan Curtis finished second in the discus throw and Justin Herzog claimed second in the 200-meter dash
 
SENIOR CELEBRATION:
After the conclusion of its only home meet of the regular season, the Gordon track & field program honored its graduating seniors: Peter McGinn, Luke O'Halloran, Noah Prince.
 

LOOKING AHEAD:
Gordon heads to the Jim Sheehan Invitational April 4.
