WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College men's lacrosse team suffered a 19-6 setback to Hartford Saturday afternoon in the first home game of the 2026 campaign.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hartford generated five goals in the opening period to establish a 5-0 lead.
- The Hawks tallied five goals in the second quarter to double their advantage to 10-0 at the half.
- The visitors netted three goals in the third while the home side notched one goal.
- Both squads chalked up five goals in the fourth frame as Hartford earned its third-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jackson Wright (Cazenovia, N.Y.) tallied three goals on the afternoon.
- Kennedy Opie (Natick, Mass.) notched two goals and one assist.
- Ryan Arthur (Manorville, N.Y.) scored one goal while Caden Lake (Basking Ridge, N.J.) dished out an assist.
- Cullen Davey (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Aidan Walsh (Scituate, Mass.) each collected four ground balls.
- Between the pipes, CJ Veader (Bristol, R.I.) recorded a season-high 23 saves.
- The Fighting Scots concluded the contest with 16 shots while Hartford registered 53 shot attempts.
