WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College softball team rallied for a 5-4 walk-off win before falling 7-3 to Western New England Monday afternoon in the first home games of the spring.
GAME ONE
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon produced a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning to grab a 2-0 lead.
- Western New England plated two runs in the top of the sixth to level the contest at 2-2.
- The Golden Bears tallied two runs in the seventh inning to seize a 4-2 advantage.
- The Fighting Scots rallied in the home half of the seventh to manufacture two runs to walk off with a 5-4 win. Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) delivered the game-winning hit with two outs in the frame, roping a double to left field to drive in McKayla Kelly (Leominster, Mass.) and Morgan Barrett (Havertown, Pa.).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) posted two RBIs, one hit, and a run scored.
- Caoimhe Wernsing (Brockton, Mass.) landed a pair of base knocks and scored one run.
- Lizzie DeRusha (Nashua, N.H.) finished with one hit and an RBI.
- Isabella Rivera (Concord, N.H.) and Makayla Falco (Warwick, R.I.) both chipped in with one hit and one run scored.
- Katie Melendy (Easton, Mass.) made her eighth start of the spring in the pitcher's circle before Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) tossed seven innings of relief while recording three strikeouts.
GAME TWO

Records: Fighting Scots (7-11, 1-3 CNE) | Golden Bears (8-10, 3-1 CNE)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Western New England chalked up one run to snag a 1-0 edge in the top of the second inning.
- The visitors extended their lead to 6-0 with five runs in the third.
- The home side generated three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to slash the deficit to 6-3.
- Western New England tacked on a run in the sixth frame to widen the gap to 7-3.
