BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College men's lacrosse team absorbed a 22-9 loss at Wentworth Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth constructed a 6-1 advantage through 15 minutes of action.
- Both sides scored three goals in the second quarter as the Leopards boasted a 9-4 lead at the half.
- Wentworth outscored Gordon 7-2 in the third to widen the gap to 16-6.
- The hosts tallied six goals in the fourth frame while the guests netted three goals as the Leopards earned their second-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Kennedy Opie (Natick, Mass.) racked up five goals and one assist.
- Jackson Wright (Cazenovia, N.Y.) notched two goals and one assist.
- Aidan Walsh (Scituate, Mass.) scooped up a team-high 11 ground balls.
- CJ Veader (Bristol, R.I.) recorded 19 saves and Jacob Brown made his first appearance of the season between the pipes.
- Gordon finished with 27 shots on the night while Wentworth manufactured 74 shot attempts.
