WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College softball team suffered two losses to Johnson & Wales Saturday afternoon, falling 4-1 and 8-6.
GAME ONE

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Johnson & Wales scored twice in the top of the third inning to capture a 2-0 lead.
- The Wildcats added a run in the sixth to extend their advantage to 3-0.
- The visitors tacked on one run in the top of the seventh to widen the margin to 4-0.
- Gordon got on the board in the bottom of the seventh inning, cutting the deficit to 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Johnson & Wales tallied one run in the first and second innings to grab a 2-0 lead.
- Each team manufactured a run in the fourth as the visitors owned a 3-1 edge.
- The Fighting Scots scored one run in the fifth inning to cut the deficit to 3-2.
- Gordon rallied for four runs in the home half of the sixth inning to capture a 6-3 advantage.
- The Wildcats responded with five runs in the top of the seventh to reclaim the lead, 8-6.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Emilie Adelmann (Upland, Calif.) notched three hits and two RBIs.
- Madeline Lovett (Nottingham, N.H.) posted one hit, one RBI, and a run scored.
- Makayla Falco (Warwick, R.I.) chipped in with one base knock, one run scored, and a stolen base.
- Kassie Snowman (St. Albans, Maine) hurled 2.2 innings. Katie Melendy (Easton, Mass.) worked 3.2 innings of relief and Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) pitched two-thirds of an inning.
