BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College women's lacrosse team suffered a 21-8 setback at Wentworth Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth clung to a narrow 4-3 lead after the first quarter.
- The Leopards outscored the Fighting Scots 7-1 in the second period to sport an 11-4 advantage at halftime.
- The visitors netted three goals in the third while the home side tallied five goals to extend the margin to 16-7.
- Wentworth scored five goals in the fourth quarter and limited Gordon to one goal in the final frame to secure its first win on home turf.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jocelyn Noyes (Byfield, Mass.) paced the Fighting Scots with four goals and eight ground balls.
- Hannah Rose (Andover, Mass.) notched two goals and three draw controls.
- Hannah Bilowz (Woburn, Mass.) and Marializ Lopez (Valley Stream, N.Y.) each chipped in with one goal.
- Between the posts, Laureen Leggett (Peabody, Mass.) finished with 18 saves.
- Gordon managed 14 shots on the afternoon while Wentworth racked up 51 shot attempts.
